		Montblanc Limited Edition - George Bernard SHAW Dark green marbled lacquer punctuated with platinum-plated fittings. These are the style features of the new Writers Edition in honour of the distinguished Irish free thinker George Bernard Shaw. This pen is inspired by Shaw’s best-known character from his play “Pygmalion”: Eliza Doolittle. Just as Eliza, a poor flower girl, is brought up to be an aristocratic lady, so the fine platinum of the pen is replaced more and more towards the cap by the opulent dark green of the precious resin. This deep, marbled green, indeed, originally represents the lush green meadows of Ireland that Shaw left behind. 		Limited Edition Faber Castell - Pen of the Year 2008 The barrel of the Pen of the Year 2008 is made of carefully selected Indian satinwood. No fewer than 84 rectangles have to be individually hand-Made for the filigree pattern of the satinwood fountain pen. No two segments are identical: each can be fitted at just a single position on the barrel and matched to its neighbours to produce precisely even joins. Then the barrel is repeatedly polished and varnished, a time-consuming process. With every little movement or rotation, individual segents sparkle to produce a fine nuance of effects.
